I have to get my account reactivated with craigslist, and this time, the site is insisting on using my cell phone to send a verification text. Craigslist said that some Voip and prepaid numbers won't work, but I'm wondering if any speakout customers here had any problems.

Hi all,

I have a few Z220 and Blu4 from previous promotions.
Quite happy with them, kids play with the blu4s and my wife and i use z220.
The only thing is the camera on these are are not great, picture quality low.

Wondering if anyone has both the virtue III and z220/blu4 and can let me know if the camera is any better in real life (not just specs since all are supposedly 5MP) on the virtue III than z220/blu4?

Worth it to spend the $50 for virtue III just for the camera?
I'm thinking not worth it, but just checking with you all just in case sf-cool_gif

There is a youtube of a lady unboxing of her 711 virtue III and it didn't charge either with the supplied charger, when she plugged it into her laptop it charged. 711 may have gotten a batch with bad chargers.

Not with craigslist but had this issue with my SpeakOut online account when adding the phone to the account. Finally had to have their service tech do it. It was mentioned that 22 txts had been sent by their computer system of which I received none.

Had this happen another time when trying to set up two factor identification with my bank. Again no txts were received. Tried with a second SpeakOut phone which immediately received the txt.

The phone in question has a number ported over from Virgin.

I picked up a SO phone and SIM card a few months ago. I just bought a BLUE LIFE X2 that I'd like to use with SO. Can I just pop in my SO SIM card and I'm good to go or is there something else I need to do?

Nothing, even now. What the heck??
Not sure what type of world we live in, Set up a new look and insist on password reset which does not work. Who in their right mind goes live with something that basically does not work? Or is it just me.

I ask because I have and do deal with a hobby site which in December before the big Christmas season, changed their complete web site and they are still working on getting it to do what it is supposed to. They obviously lost millions and I have to ask are the inmates getting to be in charge .... or does the work go to the lowest bidder \. perhaps a "coder" in high school? (reference to our BC education, now training coders! :) )

Yes exactly. Still no password email after two days and several attempts with three different browsers. Also no reply from their "Contact us" form on the website.

No reply in 3 days. For a password email. Anybody have any success? I want to see my account but cannot. I have tried calling but have been cut off after 7 minutes with the message. Call back later. I tried the contact us form as well. No response. Is there anybody there??

I've been a SpeakOut customer for years and I'm generally pretty happy with the service. Today, NOT SO MUCH! >:(

I read this in bold blue letters on the FiGO page and happily trundled off to buy a new phone...."Already an existing SpeakOut customer with an active SIM? Just remove your full size SIM from your existing phone and insert it into your new FiGO Virtual phone! No need to call customer care!"

Before I bought I asked the clerk if it would take a full size SIM and he said "yes". (I wanted a full size compatible phone so I have the option of returning it and going back to my old phone if the new handset isn't for me.)

This is incorrect and the website is incorrect - The FiGO is a micro SIM.

Now I'm stuck with a phone I can't use and SpeakOut refuses to refund the $100 airtime voucher. Although they did admit the web page was wrong and apologized. Their workaround? I should go buy a micro SIM and transfer all the contacts manually.

Really, really unprofessional.

ok. After waiting for 30 minutes i got through to speak out by phone. It is a known glitch in the system that they don't send out emails to revise your account even though they say they are. It will be corrected asap. In the meantime the phone operators are able to change your password for you. They can only do this for a short while. I did this and can now login to the new website. So the short answer to this issue is you have to call them.
