MW on Moto E 2nd gen 8GB 4G LTE (unlocked)

I just have a Moto E 2nd gen unlock phone, the SO SIM card in and the phone work properly, I just consider to add data plan.
Would some one kindly tell me,do I need to do any setting before it work, or setting is automatically.
